2008年8月19日，美國環保署(EPA)發布了關于殺蟲劑噻吩磺隆(Thifensulfuron Methyl)許可限量的最終法規。

    本法規規定以下作物內/表噻吩磺隆(Thifensulfuron Methyl，methyl-3-[[[[ (4-methoxy-6-methyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)amino]carbonyl]amino]sulfonyl]-2-thiophenecarboxylate,)的殘留許可限量：大麥干草：0.8 ppm; 燕麥草料：0.2 ppm; 燕麥干草：0.05 ppm; 小麥草料：2.5 ppm及小麥干草：0.7 ppm。
